CNSVS NEUROCOGNITIVE TESTING
For optimal results, LANC uses neurocognitive testing called CNSVS, or Central Nervous System Vital Signs. CNSVS is a thirty-minute, computerized test. CNSVS allows us to rapidly assess our client’s brain function prior to the biofeedback protocol, during, and upon completion of the 20-25 session protocol.
Whether you are looking for peak performance, improvements in ADHD, or to see a global score of your baseline brain performance, CNSVS provides the data. When used throughout the protocol, CNSVS can show how your brain and nervous system are responding to the Clarity Direct Neurofeedback.

NEUROCOGNITION INDEX
Upon completion of the 30-minute computerized test your NeuroCoach and you can view your overall neurocognitive functioning, called your “Neurocognition Index.” Your Neurocognition Index averages your scores in the five domains of:

PSYCHOMOTOR SPEED
REACTION TIME
COMPLEX ATTENTION
COGNITIVE FLEXIBILITY
This average or Neurocognition Index is a quick way to reflect the client’s performance in the assessment. We can graph the scores longitudinally and see improvement over time.

CNS Vital Signs was designed for serial administration. The words and symbols in the test are auto-randomized, generating an unlimited number of alternate forms. This minimizes potential learning effects in repeat administration. Tests other than memory tests are routinely administered several times a day in research settings.
